THOSE LAZY HAZY SUMMER DAYS
The time has come my friends, to say goodbye to the blazing rays and say hello to glorious colours of the turning leaves and frostier mornings. And if you couldn't tell before by my lack of blogging, I've been enjoying every second of this summer to the fullest!

But the days are getting shorter and weather's getting cooler, are you ready to snuggle in for Autumn?
Apart from the incredible colours that come with Autumn, I'm excited about the turn of the season for so many reasons! Firstly there's the change in fashion and make up (because who doesn't like to layer up a little more!) and the first frost, there will be fireworks night and pumpkin carving, and of course my inevitable return to Colchester!
But first let me give you a brief overview of how I spent my summer...
- I went back to work...
Whilst this may seem trivial to some people, I actually love the people I work with. I enjoy interacting with people and getting out of the house and leaving my home life behind for a while is great. It makes me sad to think that I may not be going back after I graduate!
- I went to visit my cousin in Belper, Derbyshire!
This was an incredible holiday for so many reasons! I fell in love with the countryside and the town of Belper itself was a quaint village style place with many quirky shops and boutiques. I also had an absolute blast with my cousin and spent a week of fine dining and lots of shopping!

- I went to the SW4 After Party!
I went to the Sunday event which continued the SW4 festival atmosphere on into the night, with Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz going head to head! It was genuinely a fantastic night and something I would recommend to anyone who appreciates a good beat!
- I made a lot of new friends and resolved old issues!
There's nothing worse than old issues hanging over you and making life just plain awkward! So I resolved a few things and closed the final chapter on a couple of old problems! I also made a bunch of new friends this summer which was pretty cool, as I hate to spend my time back at home on my larry! ;)
SO all in all, I had a pretty great summer! :)

Back to Autumn!
This Autumn I am hoping to do a few things and I will actually have a little more time to blog. Going back to uni means I have my own space and time to clear my head and start fresh. It's a time where I can wander round my room in my underwear if I feel like it, cook at 11pm if I feel like it and watch whatever I feel like on the TV! :P Sounds kind of sad but I've missed being able to do these things!
I'm also getting back into the gym, where I'll be lifting weights and generally getting my fitness back up to scratch so I don't feel like such a slob!
Along the same lines, SPORTS IS FREE AT UNI THIS YEAR!!! Which means I can join any club I want and it won't cost me a dime! So I'm opting to try out that super "girly" sport; kickboxing!! I'll let you guys know how it goes....
I'm also hoping to change part of my course at university, which means I might actually enjoy what I study. I used to love languages but since my year abroad (and even the year before) I haven't enjoyed my subject one bit and I find myself unfairly dismissing anything or anyone even remotely linked to it. So hopefully university will be on the up and up this year too!
The blog... I know I know, I say it all the time! But for realsies guys, I'm gonna start blogging more regularly and since I'm going to be doing so much this year, there'll be lots for me to talk about! I can promise you reviews, gigs, hobbies, fitness, music, make up and fashion and probably a lot more in a couple of general posts! :D
So my friends, until next time, which I promise won't be another 3 months, I want you to let me know what you're getting up to this Autumn!
Peace xoxo
