I have been meaning to sort it out for a while and actually got round to it this week-- the green stick like plant is a bamboo plant given to me by my neighbour before she moved to Paris (sob that's she's gone, cheer for my lucky bamboo plant!).

 If you're looking for a holiday hot spot then I will rave wonders about The Turquoise Coast in Turkey. More commonly known as Dalaman, this area of Turkey is stunning. The beaches are not soft golden sands admittedly, but the scenery, ocean and weather makes up for it! 

The place I loved most when visiting Calis Beach, was the day trip I took to Faralya, in a village called Lycia. If hippies, free love and breath-taking views are your thing then this is the place to go.
